When accuracy, consistency, speed and uninterrupted production are crucial issues, rotary screen printing offers clear advantages in many industrial applications. By using the so-called ´kiss printing´ principle, whereby the ink is applied at the point that substrate and screen meet, the chance of deviation is virtually nil.
Applications include:
- Medical. Sensors for blood-tests and heart monitoring devices, glucose sticks, and temperature indicators (used during sterilisation of medical implements).
- Pharmaceutical. Applying adhesives on skin-plasters.
- Product identification. RFID systems or ´smart labels´ for logistics information (luggage handling and automated tracking of products) and security clearance (access cards for e.g. airports, car parks, ski pistes or trains.)
