Stork Veco supplier of the year @ Fuji Dimatix
Boston, USA, July 1st 2009 - Fuji Dimatix, a leading manufacturer of ink jet printheads, each year selects their Supplier of the Year from among over 100 suppliers. The award for 2008 was presented to Stork Veco for their work in manufacturing nozzle plates for their printheads. The selection criteria for the award includes on time delivery, quality, pricing, customer support, complexity of the product and other miscellaneous items. The nozzle plates are considered among the most technically demanding components in a printhead, requiring strict control of the production and inspection processes. During 2008, Fuji Dimatix and Stork Veco cooperated in a Six Sigma project to improve product yield that resulted in significant cost savings. Stork Veco also won the Supplier of the Year Award in 2006.
